Lincoln’s Ellis Chapman could miss out against Carlisle because of suspension following his controversial red card against Cambridge on Saturday.
Manager Danny Cowley was waiting to hear the outcome of an appeal against the red card which could see Chapman suspended for three games.
Injured left-back Sam Habergham made a breakthrough in terms of his recovery on Monday and could return to full training soon. The Imps drew against Cambridge following Chapman’s dismissal and will want to bounce back against Carlisle.

The Cumbrians are set to be without centre back Tom Parkes after he went off injured in the defeat to Macclesfield. Defender Parkes hobbled off in the first half, causing more selection problems for manager John Sheridan.
Parkes joins an extensive injury list which includes striker Hallam Hope and defender Gary Liddle, who missed the previous game through injury. Carlisle will be looking to bounce back against Lincoln from their 2-1 loss to bottom side Macclesfield.
Lincoln have only lost one of their last 13 home games against Carlisle in the Football League (W7 D5), a 0-1 defeat in August 2002. They have scored 26 goals whilst conceding only nine in these matches.
Carlisle have only managed to win one of their last seven league clashes with Lincoln in the fourth tier (D1 L5), a 1-0 win in March 2006.
Lincoln have lost just one of their last 12 home games in league competition (W8 D3), only conceding more than one goal in one game during this run (3-2 v Exeter in March).
Carlisle have lost their last two league games, while they haven’t lost three in succession since March 2017 (a run of four).
In all competitions, Carlisle manager John Sheridan has won four of his last five meetings with Lincoln (D1), last losing to them in League Two in December 2009 as Cheltenham boss.
