Prestigious London restaurant The Wolseley is selling £495 hampers in an effort to encourage affluent customers to spend more over Christmas.
The Wolseley, famous for its 1920s art deco interiors, is hoping a new range of hampers will contribute to what is expected to be its busiest Christmas ever.
Its hamper is filled with products including all butter shortbread, silver-plated accessories for afternoon tea, fine wine, Pommery champagne and dark sea salt truffles.
It also includes a breakfast for two gift card and a porcelain Christmas bauble.

The Wolseley was founded by restaurateurs Chris Corbin and Jeremy King in 2003, in what was originally a car showroom for Wolseley Motors.
King’s wife, Lauren Gurvich King, (pictured right with her husband) said: ‘We had been asked so many times where we got our tea, coffee, silver and more.
‘This has led to the creation of The Wolseley Shop and our Wolseley Collection. This coming week is going to be our busiest.’
