This is the first picture of a British groom-to-be whose stag-do party allegedly paid  £90 to a homeless man to have his name and address tattooed on his face.

James Blake, 36, was partying in Benidorm where the Polish rough sleeper named Tomek had ‘Jamie Blake, North Shields, N28’ written permanently on his forehead on July 13.

Mr Blake says he split up with his partner Kerry before the incident but still decided to hold astag do with 30 of his best friends.

During the chaotic night in the Spanish resort the men escorted Tomek him to a tattoo parlour to have the inking.

But the stag says he had already been thrown out of a bar for being too drunk and had nothing to do with the stunt.

Jamie, who said he moved from North Tyneside to Benidorm three months ago and works on the strip, also believes Tomek was not paid any cash to have the tattoo done.

He told the Newcastle Evening Chronicle: ‘I was not there at the time. There was a big group of around 30 of us drinking in the bar.

‘Tomek isn’t homeless, he lives with my friend and works on the strip. I got drunk and was asked to leave the bar. I was never in the tattoo parlour and as far as I know he was not paid any money.’

Now he fears he could lose his job in Spain because of the furore back home over the picture.

Mr Blake has two children with Kerry Clay, a dinner lady at a local school on Tyneside – but he said they had split recently.

There was no answer at their home yesterday but neighbours confirmed he was in Spain.

But his family are less than impressed with the antics on his stag-do.

His father Brian Blake, 77, from Northallerton, North Yorkshire, told MailOnline: ‘He won’t be going on anymore stag dos in the near future and we’ll leave it at that.’

Sickening images taken in the tattoo parlour show the man lying flat on his back on a chair while a lamp shone light on his forehead.

Tomek threw up a ‘peace sign’ while he stared straight at the ceiling. The image was shared to Facebook by the tattoo parlour, but it was quickly deleted.

A photograph taken later showed that the tattooing was stopped two letters into ‘North Shields’, so it reads: ‘Jamie Blake No’.

The story has sparked outrage, and local businesses are even discussing the possibility of paying to get the tattoo removed.

The president of the Benidorm British Business Association slammed the actions of the men on the stag do.

Karen Malin Cowles, who knows Tomek, told the Daily Star: ‘What they have done to this man is utterly inhuman and akin to abuse.

‘I’m appalled that a group of grown men would take advantage of someone in such a vulnerable position. They have left a human being scarred for the rest of his life.’

Getting a tattoo on your head or face is considered one of the most painful places to get inked as it can create an uncomfortable sensation in the skull.

Other painful places that can be extremely painful to get tattoos include fingers, the rib cage and spine.
